Tears to shed

Mais uma vez, o filme de Tim Burton, "The Corpse Bride", consegue mexer na minha maneira de sentir, desta vez através da música [tenho a certeza que este é maior orgulho na vida do realizador! :) ]. Estou a falar da música de Danny Elfman,"Tears to shead". Se eu já gostei de a ouvir enquanto via o filme, quando a ouvi em casa (obrigada, P.) derreti-me.

Neste comovente momento musical, Emily, a noiva cadáver, canta que apesar de não sentir dor quando toca numa vela e saber que está realmente morta, não consegue evitar a sensação de um coração despedaçado e que de facto ainda lhe restam algumas lágrimas para chorar.
A tristeza de Emily, contrasta de uma forma brilhante com a alegria (apesar de forçada) dos amigos que a tentam animar.

É das poucas músicas em que não me identifico com a letra (óbvio!) e que mexem mesmo comigo. Dá-me vontade de fechar os olhos e ouvir até cansar, num local sossegado e na penumbra. *suspiro* . Podem ter a certeza que é o que vou fazer hoje à noite...
